Because nothing is far, nothing is hurried. You find her, and then you stay — engine off, the light turning, an hour given to one animal.

The game drives are extraordinary — but they are a choice, not an obligation. Days here can be spent entirely in camp: at the table, on the sky deck, in the spa, beside the fire — each considered as carefully as the safari itself.
There is a farm inside the camp. Half of what you eat is picked there that morning. Bread, yoghurt and ice cream are made here, and nothing is added to the juice.
